Notifications in the app

The inbox

Every forum's notifications arrive in the app's inbox: replies, mentions, likes, badges and messages. Each one opens the exact post it is about.

Device alerts

Alerts on your lock screen come from forums that run Sysaru Push. A forum without it still fills your inbox while the app is open, but sends no device alerts.

A private message arrives as a plain new message alert, so its words never show on a locked screen.

Turning them off

• For one forum: turn its notifications off in the app's settings for that forum.
• For the whole app: turn notifications off for Sysaru in your device's settings.

Apple and Google deliver the alerts, so battery saving, focus modes and a weak connection can delay them.
