Push turns your forum from something members check into something that reaches them. Replies, mentions, quotes, likes, messages, chat and live room alerts arrive as real device notifications, and each one opens the exact post that triggered it rather than dropping the member on the home screen.It is built to be quiet when it should be.

Private messages, group messages, private chat and replies a member is not allowed to see are delivered with a title only and no body, so nothing confidential appears on a lock screen.Permission is checked before any content goes into a notification. Anything already read in the app is skipped, so browsing on the web does not set off a phone alert seconds later.

You run none of the infrastructure. The delivery relay is provisioned and maintained for your site, so there is no Firebase project to create, no push certificates to renew and no server to keep alive.

Platform changes from Apple and Google are handled on our side. Day to day, everything lives in a panel inside your own Discourse admin. See every registered device with its member, platform and registration date, search by username, fire a test notification, remove a device, and clear out stale tokens in one click.

Behind it, scheduled jobs verify delivery receipts and prune subscriptions when members uninstall.
