The Sysaru App plugin

Sysaru App connects a self hosted Discourse forum to the Sysaru app. It is free, under the same licence as Discourse. You manage it from Admin, Plugins, Sysaru App, in six tabs.

  • Analytics: active users, sign ins, push reach and posts made from the app.
  • Authentication: native sign in inside the app, email code login, and the sign in methods offered.
  • Connect: list your community in the app's Forum Explorer.
  • Features: turn app features on or off, and set video thumbnails.
  • Notifications: set up push delivery and manage registered devices.
  • Support: updates, the diagnostic report and troubleshooting.

Its admin pages are in 48 languages beside English. If a release fails to load, the plugin switches itself off and the forum keeps running.

On hosted Discourse you cannot install plugins, but you can still list your forum. See Listing your forum.
