When a licence lapses

A licence runs for as long as its subscription does. Its page shows the date it is valid until and whether it renews.

Before it ends

We email you 30, 7 and 1 day before a licence expires, with a link to renew.

If it ends

• If the renewal is not paid, the licence lapses with its subscription and shows as Expired.
• Your site stops validating the key at its next check, so updates and support stop.
• Press Renew on the licence, or pay its renewal invoice, and it works again with the same key.
